Terms and Conditions for Consumer Purchases of Goods via the Internet

Introduction

This purchase is governed by the standard terms and conditions set out below for consumer purchases of goods via the Internet. These terms have been prepared in accordance with Norwegian consumer protection legislation and EU consumer rights directives.

1. The Agreement

The agreement between the buyer and the seller consists of the information provided by the seller in the order process (including information on the nature of the goods, quantity, quality, price and delivery terms), any direct correspondence between the parties (e.g. by email) and these terms and conditions.

Buyer: The person or company placing the order via our website.

3. Prices

Prices stated in the store include VAT where applicable. Full cost information including all fees (VAT, customs if applicable) and delivery costs is shown at checkout before the order is placed. All deliveries are within Norway unless otherwise agreed.

4. Formation of Agreement

The agreement is binding on both parties when the buyer's order has been received by the seller. The seller reserves the right to cancel an order and refund payment if a supplier does not have the item in stock or if there are material changes to the supply agreement.

5. Order Confirmation

When the seller has received the buyer's order, the seller shall without undue delay confirm the order by sending an order confirmation to the buyer. The buyer is advised to check that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, product type, price, etc.

6. Payment

The seller may require payment from the time the item is ordered, as items are made to order. Production will not begin until payment has been received. After 5 business days without payment the order may be cancelled.

7. Delivery

Delivery takes place in the manner, at the location and at the time stated in the order process, or as otherwise agreed. If no delivery time is stated, the seller shall deliver within reasonable time and no later than 30 days after the order. Items are sent with tracking (Shipmondo or similar) unless otherwise agreed.

8. Risk

Risk passes to the buyer when the item has been received by the buyer in accordance with the agreement.

9. Right of Withdrawal

Please note that custom-made and specially adapted items are not covered by standard withdrawal rights. All our products are manufactured to order. If the buyer wishes to withdraw after production has begun, costs for work performed and materials used may be charged to the buyer.

Withdrawal notice must be given within 14 days of receiving the item and the withdrawal form. Notice should be in writing (withdrawal form, email or letter).

10. Complaints

If there is a defect in the goods, the buyer must notify the seller within a reasonable time (minimum 2 months) after discovering it. Complaints must be made no later than 6 months after the buyer received the goods. Notice to the seller should be in writing (email or letter).

15. Warranty

Any warranty given by the seller or manufacturer gives the buyer rights in addition to those already available under applicable law.

17. Dispute Resolution

The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. Norwegian consumers may contact the Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) for assistance. Disputes may be submitted to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukertvistutvalget) if mediation fails.
